Finn brings focus, drive, and his whole heart to everything he does. He possesses a strong desire to please and a love to work and get it ‘just right’. He pays attention to the details and never forgets. His working brain is one of his best qualities and he lives for performing in any capacity. His favorite food of all time is chicken and his favorite toys rotate on a monthly basis. Finn is aloof but tolerant with strangers and a huge goofy cuddle bug once you get to know him. He is especially bonded to his people. If Finn were a human he’d probably sport a mullet as he is truly “business in the front, party in the back” when the world stops watching. Finn helps us raise and socialize puppies and is gentle and tolerant with the little ones, even if sometimes too tolerant. Finn embodies the Jack of All Trades the Beauceron is known for and has never failed to bring his best to anything we have asked of him. He is great at taking direction and assessing a situation before acting. Finn even held off an armed home intruder as the intruder exited our neighbor’s house and attempted to approach us outside our home. Somehow, he knew that SWAT was there to take care of the intruder when they arrived and didn’t so much as bark at the team as they ran past us in full body armor. Finn also passed a French Journee temperament test and reacted appropriately to a simulated threat as well as accepted pets from the same person simulating the threat at the end of the test. Finn is a beautifully balanced moderate male and brings a lot to the table. His lineage includes dogs with higher drive and working intensity.
