About SilverStruck

SilverStruck is based just outside of Seattle, WA in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. Our dogs are all cherished members of our family and live with us in our home. SilverStruck was born from a profound lifelong love of dogs. Having a background working both in professional boarding and training and having owned and worked with many different breeds of dogs, Beaucerons in particular have captured our hearts. This versatile breed, the jack of all trades and country gentleman, has a whip smart brain and a fierce, everlastingly loyal heart of gold. A working relationship with a Beauceron is that of a bond with great depth, mutual respect, and love. We are dedicated to the careful and thoughtful preservation of this rare breed for the generations to come. Each litter is the product of years of hoping, planning, and praying.

Health, temperament, and type are the pillars of our program. We breed mindfully and carefully both to preserve and improve the Beauceron breed as a whole. It is our goal to produce dogs who meet the AKC Beauceron standard, are of excellent health, maintain natural working ability and instinct, and have correct sound temperaments. Venues our dogs have trained and/or competed in include multiple venues of conformation, agility, herding, fastCAT, rally, and barn hunt. It is important to us that our dogs excel in many areas, not just the show ring, and are ultimately well rounded family members.

We place our puppies with best fit homes in mind first and foremost. It is always our goal for puppy placements to be lifelong and for our puppies to thrive in their forever homes. Producing family members is not a privilege we take lightly and it is our deepest desire that every one of our puppies knows how loved they are. While we always hope that every puppy is with their family for their entire lives, should anything happen, we will always be a safe space for any of our puppies to return to for any reason.

Every litter produced is raised in our home with both Avidog and Puppy Culture early socialization protocols including ENS/ESI. We expose puppies early to the foundations of potty training, crate training, and grooming to ease their transitions into their new homes. We also provide a genetic health guarantee for our puppies and health test all of our breeding dogs beyond the recommendations set forth by the American Beauceron Club (ABC) and Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA).
